• 1990-1995: Studied Business Administration, focussing on taxation theory, at the Technical University, Berlin
• 1995-1997: Assistant auditor at a medium-sized company for auditing and tax consultancy in Berlin
• 1997-2001: Research assistant at the ebs International Real Estate Business School, Berlin campus.
• 1998: Post-graduate study of real estate economics at the ebs International Real Estate Business School, Berlin campus.
• 1999-2002: Doctorate (Dr. rer. pol.) from the European Business School International University Schloss Reicharthausen, under the Professor of Real Estate Management
• 2001-2004: Assistant to the board of management, later Head of Group Coordination with power of attorney at Deutsche Real Estate AG
• Since 2004: self-employed consultant in the field of real estate management
