• 1989-1994: Lecturer at the former Bayerische Beamtenfachhochschule (now the FHVR in Bavaria - a university of applied sciences for civil servants); subject area – the administration of legal affairs (Starnberg campus)
• 1994: Appointment at the FHVR Berlin (now the Berlin School of Economics and Law – BSEL)
• 1997-2002: Vice-dean of the Administration of Legal Affairs Faculty
