Internal Evaluation at the Berlin School of Economics and Law
The internal evaluation process distinguishes between the evaluation of degree programmes and student and lecturer feedback on courses. Both of these have become well-established evaluation processes at the Berlin School of Economics and Law. It also proved possible to leverage the experience gained from using these instruments in the Faculty of Business and Economics (FB 1) to introduce them swiftly into the Faculty of Company-Linked Programmes. The Statute on the Evaluation of Training, required by the Law on Institutions of Higher Education in the State of Berlin (Berliner Hochschulgesetz, BerlHG) for the entire University, has been ratified and published.
To ensure that student feedback on courses flows into quality assurance on training, the Berlin School of Economics pursues a robust policy on evaluating results and discussions with teaching staff, consulting and tertiary level training in teaching theory and methodology.
