• Doctorate (Dr. rer. pol.) from the Westphalian Wilhelms-University Münster
• Federal Ministry of Finance (Department for privatisation and participation management): advice on the privatisation of state-owned industries; participation controlling for central government
• One of Germany’s representatives at the OECD (Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development)
