The BSEL is currently hosting 28 students from its partner university ESC Rennes Business School. The group is participating in a two-week project at the Schöneberg Campus, dealing with a Strategic Management case study organized by the Cooperative Studies Programme in Business Administration.

Developed by Prof Christoph Dörrenbächer from the Department of Business and Economics, the course is taught by Prof Dörrenbächer and a member of staff from the ESC Rennes. The class involves close co-operation between the two institutions, whose staff worked closely together in the run up to the two weeks, planning every detail of the teaching and evaluation. The “Siemens students” (the course is run together with Siemens AG) are highly motivated and work on the international case studies in mixed groups from both institutions. The guests from Rennes also enjoy a small cultural programme, introducing them to the highlights of Berlin life, and a visit to a regional company.

This is the fourth time that the BSEL has hosted Master’s students from the ESC Rennes. This year’s group is made up of international full-time students from Rennes, including 23 from China. A total of 380 Rennes students are currently moving across the European university scene, with placements in locations including Almeria, Athens, Bratislava, Cádiz, Florence, Karlsruhe, Liège, London, Lüneburg, Maastricht, Madrid, Riga and Warsaw.

The BSEL runs a dual award programme with the ESC Rennes Business School, regularly exchanging Master’s students. Please address all enquiries to the BSEL International Office.
