Students log in once via Bibkey using their general identifier (Moodle data) and create / change a password for their library account here:

All other library users of HWR Berlin can register at the information counter of the library. Please have your ID card and a university membership document with you.

The University Library's training courses will show you where and how you can find, manage and quote literature online and on-site. In addition, we are happy to answer your questions about your library account, the access to databases and online research portals.


E-journals of the Wiley DEAL offer now in HoWeR
From now on all HWR members have access to the Wiley e-journal offer via the search portal HoWeR.
The activation was made possible by the project DEAL, the nationwide licensing of offers from major science publishers.

Changed opening hours:
At Campus Schöneberg the library is open from 08-12 July 2019 from 10:00-21:00 and on 13 July (Saturday) from 10:00-15:00.
The period from 15.07. to 30.09.2019 is lecture-free, the opening hours during the lecture-free period apply.
At Campus Lichtenberg the following opening hours apply from July to September.

Institutions from Berlin and Brandenburg support the Directory of Open Access Books (DOAB)
The Directory of Open Access Books (DOAB) lists quality-assured open access books. The HWR Berlin has joined the Freie Universität Berlin, the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, the Technische Universität Berlin, the Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin and the Universität Potsdam in the Friedrich-Althoff-Konsortium e.V. Citavi 6 on all PC workstations
The Citavi literature management program comes with a new cloud version and is now ready for use at all PC workstations in the library at both locations.
Register or sign up with the HWR Berlin E-Mailaddress and let's start with the literature management for your homework or thesis. The university has a campus license.

Scan in the library
From now on, a scanner in the printing room on the 4th floor in the library is available for free at Campus Schöneberg for scanning documents, pictures or book pages. In the library at Campus Lichtenberg scanning is possible in room 6B.171, in the entrance area of ​​the library.

Exhibition in the library at Campus Schöneberg in summer semester 2019
Under the title "Creative Against Cancer" this semester a presentation of the results of a lecture will take place.
The exhibition can be seen from June 6 to July 13, 2019.

Database training from the summer semester 2019
In addition to the database offer of the university library, separate database trainings will follow in the summer semester of 2019.
