HWR Berlin libraries
The HWR Berlin offers its students, professors, lecturers and employees a comprehensive library service at any time.
Shutdown of the Library
Dear library users,
due to the coronavirus pandemic, the library of HWR will remain closed at both locations until further notice.
As usual, our online resources (e-books, online journals and databases) are also available to you from outside the university. You can find information on the offer and access to it on our website on the subject of Literature research and Training and advice.
In addition, we are expanding the options for ordering online articles - please send us your order requests by e-mail to hsb.cs(at)hwr-berlin.de
The borrowing and returning of media is unfortunately not possible. We are in demand for you by phone and email at the following times.
For both locations Campus Schöneberg and Campus Lichtenberg
- Monday to Friday: 10 a.m.–3 p.m.
The Library do not charge any fees for exceeding loan periods. Please keep your own borrowed media, the return is currently not possible on site.
At present, it is not possible to make reservations, branch orders and magazine orders via the library account. We will reactivate these functions as soon as the library is open again. Media that has already been made available to you will remain reserved for you for the duration of the closure.
Further new information and training videos for research will be added continuously.
We thank you for your understanding and remain healthy!
