Students log in once via Bibkey using their general identifier (Moodle data) and create / change a password for their library account here:
All other library users of HWR Berlin can register at the information counter of the library. Please have your ID card and a university membership document with you.

Open Access Week at HWR Berlin | 09/30/2019
During the International Open Access Week (taking place from 21st October 2019 to 27th October 2019) HWR Berlin will present information desks at both locations (Lichtenberg and Schöneberg) in the respective academic libraries. It is also possible to join walk-in consultations concerning the following topics:
- Open Access and Open Science
- ORCID iD (unique identifier for researchers)
- Open Content Licences ( esp. CC licences)
Professors, researchers, students, and all interested persons are invited to come and join us in the library. We look forward to seeing you and discussing Open Access and related topics and questions with you. Further information on the event.
New Campuscard - what changes? | 09/25/2019
Not much - the new Campuscard has exchanged its barcode outfit for a new RFID chip and has a new self-checkout machine for the Campus Schöneberg, which can read both and continues to allow book lending and return. Books can also be borrowed and returned with the new and old Campuscard at the information desks at both locations.
Copyright in Research and Teaching | 09/06/2019
Which uses of a publication are permitted? Who is allowed to use the content? Or: What has to be considered when publishing research results? The Federal Ministry of Education and Research answers the following questions, among others and lists in a guide on copyright in science (in german) on what researchers and teachers should know (german). In the Moodle course Information: Copyright in Teaching and Studies are further helpful information on the subject compiled.

Interlibrary loan of books of the FES library | 07/26/2019
The cooperation with the library of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung now offers our users a new inter-library loan service.
Particularly interesting is the offer for the BPS-LPG Master students who are already familiar with the stock of the FES library.
In the catalog of the FES library can u.a. Sources for the history of German social democracy are researched, which can be ordered via a form free of charge.
