The intercultural programme Chinese-European Economics and Business Studies provides students with key insights into major aspects of economic development in China and Europe. The skills taught include analyses of specific aspects of trade relations and financial flows, and an understanding of the social and economic interrelations between these two geo-political regions

Professional field

The progamme provides a springboard for a future career as a specialist or executive manager in a Chinese-European oriented business, in economics, or in politics. Participants in this programme will acquire a good base of knowledge in economics and business, as well as in the specific cultural and political foundations of China and Europe.

Degree structure

The Master in Chinese-European Economics and Business Studies offers a course of studies directly concerned with the core issues of companies and institutions working in a Chinese-European business environment. It comprises three parts: the first part builds and extends expertise in International Business and Economics, the second focuses on Chinese- European Business and Economics, and the third is dedicated to Cultural Studies and Language Learning.

  • A recognised international undergraduate degree (Bachelor, Diploma), Four-year Bachelor's degree (China) or at least 180 ECTS credit points
  • Professional experience increases the chances of submission
  • Excellent knowledge of English equivalent to a TOEFL certificate of at least ibt 79 points or cbt 213 points, IELTS with an overall band score of 6.5 or other equivalent certificates
