Organisation of Studies

In order to ease the bureaucratic burden that you have to deal with during your studies at the HWR Berlin, we have put together a summary of information and a number of key applications and forms for you.

Enrolment and Re-enrolment

Enrolment is the first stage of your studies. Once you have registered or enrolled, you will become a member of the University and be able to use all of the facilities and attend lectures. As your studies progress, you will need to re-register in good time every semester. Detailed information for your degree programme can found in the respective Departments

Information on leave of absence

If you are unable to attend your studies as scheduled during the course of a semester, you have the option available to submit a request for leave of absence no later than eight weeks prior to the end of the semester in question. More information
