Organisation of Studies

In order to ease the bureaucratic burden that you have to deal with during your studies at the HWR Berlin, we have put together a summary of information and a number of key applications and forms for you.

Enrolment and Re-enrolment

Enrolment is the first stage of your studies. Once you have registered or enrolled, you will become a member of the University and be able to use all of the facilities and attend lectures. As your studies progress, you will need to re-register in good time every semester. Detailed information for your degree programme can found in the respective Departments

Information on a intermission semester

If you are unable to attend your studies as scheduled during the course of a semester, you have the option available to submit a request for a intermission semester no later than eight weeks prior to the end of the semester in question. More information
