The arrival of 135 fresh faces from around the globe promises to inject even more diversity and cultural richness into campus life this semester.

The initial days at a new university can be both exhilarating and overwhelming. However, the HWR Berlin specializes in ensuring a smooth transition for newcomers. Orientation events provide a wealth of information about campus life, academic programs, and the various resources available to students. From guided tours to informational sessions, new students are equipped with everything they need to settle in quickly.

A pivotal component of the orientation week is the intensive German course, which helps international students improve their German language skills and better acclimate to their new environment. The ability to communicate effectively in German opens doors to academic opportunities and facilitates integration into the local community.

But it's not all about academics. The university places great emphasis on ensuring that international students also get to experience the rich cultural tapestry of their new city. That is why cultural visits are also on the agenda during the orientation period. Whether it is museum tours, a boat tour, or cultural events, students have the opportunity to experience local culture first hand and engage with their peers.

A warm welcome to all the new international exchange students! May your time at our university be filled with exciting discoveries and meaningful experiences.
