Fulbright delegation visits the HWR Berlin
HWR Berlin welcomed a Fulbright delegation from the United States. The visit strengthened academic exchange and provided new impetus for internationalisation and transatlantic cooperation.

The HWR Berlin welcomed a group of US representatives from the Fulbright Seminar for University Administration to its Schöneberg Campus. For over 73 years, the German-American Fulbright Commission has been one of the largest bilateral exchange programmes in the world. Every year, it supports around 700 students, teaching staff and professionals from both countries, creating space for intercultural dialogue and sustainable scientific cooperation.
The role of HWR Berlin in the Fulbright Programme
HWR Berlin has been an integral part of the programme for many years. Its internationalisation strategy, its profile as a university of applied sciences and its wide range of dual (degree) programmes make it particularly attractive to delegation participants. The visit regularly opens up new opportunities for HWR Berlin to establish contacts with US universities, expand exchange options and generate interest in winter and summer school programmes.
Common goals for the future
The Fulbright Programme stands for openness, dialogue and sustainable academic relationships. HWR Berlin is delighted to help shape this tradition by expanding international networks, joint educational initiatives and the promotion of global learning and research spaces.
