How to apply without a German university entrance qualification

The Digital Healthcare Management programme is designed for:
People with an interest in health, digital technologies, and management who want to play an active role in shaping the digital transformation of the healthcare sector.

We provide personalized advice, assist with program matching, and guide you through the next steps—from the application process to signing your contract.

If your academic credentials were earned abroad, it must be verified prior to enrollment whether these credentials qualify you to begin your studies. To this end, HWR Berlin has implemented a preliminary review process conducted by the University Application Service for International Students (uni-assist) e. V. This external organization reviews the academic credentials of prospective students on behalf of 170 universities.

To have your university admission credentials reviewed, please contact uni-assist directly:

Important: For cooperative study programmes, uni-assist only conducts a preliminary review of the credentials (not the application itself). Since prospective students apply directly to the partner companies and not to the HWR Berlin, it is not possible to process an application for cooperative degree programmes through uni-assist.

It is the responsibility of each applicant to submit a request for recognition of the relevant documents, and this should be done before or concurrently with the application to the partner companies.

For study courses in German international students have to prove their German proficiency through the “Test of German Language Ability for Foreign College Students (DSH 2)”. Graduates of the Goethe-Zertifikats C2 (Großes Deutsches Sprachdiplom (GDS)) by the Goethe-Institut, Test-DaF-Graduates with the result of TDN degree 4 in all four tests and graduates of  the test „telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule“ do not need the DSH.
