A number of different application deadlines apply

Those considering making an application for a place on a degree programme at the Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Recht Berlin (HWR Berlin) must note that the application deadlines can vary according to the degree programme for which they wish to apply and the subject-specific semester in which they wish to commence their studies.

Five tips for a successful application

1. Find out about which documents you need to submit and compile them in good time.
2. Submit the documents before the deadline.
3. Make sure that your documents are complete and correct.
4. Send off the documents in good time. The date of receipt, not the date on the post mark is decisive.
5. Late applications will not be considered.

Application deadlines in the Department of Co-operative studies

Applicants for a place on a cooperative studies degree programme are to submit their applications to one of our partner companies, who will set the application deadline. Please inquire to the relevant partner company. We recommend that applications be submitted a year before the degree programme is set to commence.

Special application deadlines in the Department of Legal Studies

Applications for the Legal Studies internal degree programme are to be sent directly to the authority in which the applicant wishes to complete their training. Applications made to authorities in Berlin and Brandenburg must have been received by 31 October; those submitted to authorities in Sachsen-Anhalt are to have been received by 31 December. Successful applicants will commence their studies on 1 October of the following year.

Applications for the Custody and Guardianship Master’s degree programme of continuing professional development are accepted throughout the year.

Applications can be made at any time for the following degree programmes offered by the BPS:

• Berlin MBA, part-time
• Berlin MBA, full-time
• Master’s degree programme in International Business Management
• Master’s degree programme in Sustainability and Quality Management
• Cooperative studies Master's degree programme in General Management
• Master’s degree programme in Business Management – Digital Business Management
