Prof. Dr. Sebastian Fischer vertritt seit September 2021 am Fachbereich Duales Studium das Lehr- und Forschungsgebiet Wirtschaftsinformatik, insbesondere Datenbanken und Business Intelligence. Er besitzt einen Bachelorabschluss in Wirtschaftsinformatik (HWR Berlin) und zwei Masterabschlüsse in Innovationsmanagement & Entrepreneurship (TU Berlin) sowie Business Administration (University of Twente). Sebastian wurde 2015 am Lehrstuhl für Innovationsökonomie der TU Berlin promoviert. Anschließend ließ er sich in den USA (Harvard, Stanford) zum Data Scientist mit einem Schwerpunkt auf Maschinellem Lernen ausbilden. Vor seiner Berufung zum Professor hat Sebastian im Forschungsbereich der Deutschen Telekom AG Projekte im Themenfeld der Künstlichen Intelligenz geleitet und in diesem Umfeld geforscht.
