HTMI − Harriet Taylor Mill-Institut für Ökonomie und Geschlechterforschung
Website HTMINeurodiversity is an expression of different cognitive learning modalities. It is becoming one of the most important topics in social discourse, one that affects education, business, and emotional well-being. While an awareness of neurodiversity is therefore crucial to understanding the way people operate in the world, the concept is not yet itself fully understood. This event takes multiple perspectives to explore and uncover what neurodiversity means – focusing on the power, the inequality, and the professional, cultural, and gender-specific consequences that so often get lost in the conversation. We give life to the voices of those most affected: those who are forgotten, those who have been misunderstood, and those who have accepted their uniqueness and succeeded not despite, but because of their neurotypes.
Participants and attendees will leave with a deeper understanding, not only of neurodiversity, but of how best to include those who are neurodivergent in their business, education, and social environments, and harness the power that this can provide.
