Earthquake in Syria and Turkey

The extent of the destruction following the severe earthquakes in Syria and Turkey is immense. Countless people have lost loved ones, homes and livelihoods in the disaster.

The HWR Berlin expresses its deepest sympathy to all those affected by the devastating earthquakes in Syria and Turkey. Special solidarity goes to the students, colleagues who have lost relatives or friends in the disaster. The university would like to thank students, faculty and staff for their great commitment to the various relief initiatives for the victims.

What is the HWR Berlin doing to help?

  1. The departments of the HWR Berlin allow students affected by the disaster to receive compensation for disadvantages.
  2. The HWR Berlin accepts students from the earthquake region as guest students unbureaucratically after a case-by-case assessment.
